There are 10 row types that form the building blocks of a page, outlined as follows.
\nA Text Row is designed for adding textual content into between 1 and 12 columns. A text row supports markdown formatting as described here. It also allows you to add an inline image after the text. When a row is inserted into a page it will by default be created with a single column which will take up the entire width of the Row. See the Text article for a detailed guide.
\nAction buttons are designed to allow a number of buttons to be created on a page that when clicked will link you to other pages either internally, or externally to other websites. See the Action Buttons article for a detailed guide.
\nThis is the primary row type for displaying photo collections. Albums can be displayed as a carousel, a gallery, or a grid. They can also link to a walk, social, or committee event and auto-generate links from the album title. See the Albums article for a detailed guide.
\nThis allows you to auto-generate a set of action buttons based on a collection of pages or albums elsewhere on the site. You can choose all or a subset. This row type is useful if you want to structure your content in a nested way throughout your site — e.g. have an index on a weekend break page, with links to an album of photos for each of the weekend breaks that are available. The index can also generate an interactive map with pins — if the child pages contain location rows, each page appears as a pin on the map, allowing visitors to navigate directly to a page by clicking its pin. \nLocation rows display geographic information for walking routes, showing start points (and optionally end points) with interactive maps, postcodes, grid references, and What3Words codes. When a page with a location row appears in an index that includes a map view, a pin will automatically appear on the map based on the location details. \nCommittee document rows provide a structured way to display and manage downloadable files such as meeting minutes, agendas, and reports — organised by date with access controls. See the Committee Documents article for a detailed guide.
\nShared fragments are reusable content blocks that can be embedded across multiple pages. Edit the fragment once, and every page that uses it updates automatically. See the Shared Fragments article for a detailed guide.
\nMap rows display interactive maps with walking routes loaded from GPX files. Routes are shown as coloured lines on the map with start/end markers, direction arrows, and optional waypoints. \nArea map rows display an interactive geographic overview of Ramblers group boundaries, showing coloured regions on a map with hover effects, labels, and optional click actions. See the Area Maps article for a detailed guide.
\nEvents rows embed a live listing of walks or social events into any page, with configurable filters, search, and display options. See the dedicated Events Rows guide for full details.
\n\n\nNote: The Carousel row type is being phased out and will be removed in a future update. The Album row type now accommodates all carousel functions and should be used instead.
