This page gets you logged in, then points you to a short guide for each thing you are likely to want to do.\n\n## Logging in to your group's website\n\nOne thing to know first: you log in on **your own group's website**, not on this one. This how-to site is shared by every group; your login only works on your group's own site, at the address you already use to look at the walks programme.\n\n1. Find the email containing your login details. It is sent by whoever looks after your group's website, and it has your username and a password reset link in it. If it has not arrived yet, you can [reset your password yourself](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/forgot-password) (note that you have to do this by adding `/forgot-password` to your own website address - not on the NGX Ramblers project site that you are reading now. Alternatively, you can click **forgot password** in the header of your site).\n2. Go to your group's website and choose **Login** from the menu at the top of the page.\n3. Type in the username and password from the email, exactly as written.\n\nThat's it. The website will now show you more than ordinary visitors see: depending on your role you will have an **Admin** menu, and extra editing controls on the pages you look after.\n\n**Password not working, or lost the email?** Find your group in the table below and click its **Reset my password** link, enter your email address, and a reset link will be sent to you.\n\n![](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/api/aws/s3/site-content/33E34DF5-3614-4DFB-8585-4524F48EDC6C.jpeg)\n\n## Now, what would you like to do?\n\nEach of these links takes you to a step-by-step guide with screenshots. Pick the one that matches what you are trying to do:\n\n- **Send an email to members or the committee** - follow the [Composer walkthrough](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/email-articles/sending-emails-walkthrough), which goes step by step through your first send\n- **Understand how email works here first** - read [Sending Emails](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/email-articles/sending-emails) for the short version of what the Email Composer does\n- **Receive email for your committee role** (chairman@, secretary@ and so on, instead of personal addresses) - see [Email Forwarding](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/email-articles/email-forwarding)\n- **Save a draft, or reuse an email you sent before** - see [Drafts and Reusing Emails](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/email-articles/sending-emails-drafts)\n- **Change the wording of the emails the website sends automatically** (welcome emails, booking confirmations and so on) - see [Customising Email Wording](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/email-articles/customising-email-wording)\n- **Get members onto your mailing lists** - see [Subscribing Members to Lists](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/email-articles/subscribing-members)\n- **Edit a page on the website** - start with [Editing Content](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/editing-content)\n- **Work with photos and images** - see [Editing Images](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/images)\n\nThe full set of guides lives under [How-to for the Committee](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee) and [Email Articles](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/how-to/committee/email-articles).\n\n## If you get stuck\n\nAsk whoever sent you your login details, or use the contact options on your group's website. If you are still stuck, or something seems harder than it should be, [email the NGX-Ramblers team](mailto:info@ngx-ramblers.org.uk) and we will help.
