The format that is compatible with Member Admin is [Membership Secretaries FullList](https://insight.ramblers.org.uk/#/views/MembershipSecretariesV4-AZURE/FullList?:iid=3). The file that needs to be downloaded is named **Full List.xlsx**\n* To load the members, click the **New Upload** tab and you will see a view as follows:\n\n\n![](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/api/aws/s3/site-content/25a2b3f6-efcb-4a9b-853c-80da3c1be2a0.jpg)\n\n* Click the **Browse for monthly reports file** button and you will be prompted to navigate to the spreadsheet on your computer and then click **Open**.\n* Alternatively, you can drop the file in the **Or drop file here** zone below that button.\n* The data will be loaded automatically. If the member does not match an existing member based on their membership number, a new member will be created with the following fields populated: membership number, forename, surname, postcode, private email, telephone, expiry date.\n* If the member does match based on the membership number, the expiry date will be updated. Other fields will only be updated if they are blank.\n\nThe matching rules for updating existing members are as follows:\n\n**Member field (Updated if)**\n* Membership Expiry Date (changed)\n* Membership Number (changed)\n* Mobile Number (Existing value is Empty)\n* Email (Existing value is Empty)\n* First Name (Existing value is Empty)\n* Last Name (Existing value is Empty)\n* Postcode (Existing value is Empty)\n* Group Member (if member is Not revoked - Set to ‘true’ if Membership Expiry Date is in the future.)\n\nIn Summary, when we process bulk load data, Ramblers data is used as a default, but members (or you) can update their data in our system, and once we have a value set in a field, it will never be overridden by a future Bulk Load from Ramblers (even if the member updates their information on Ramblers' website). \n\n","contentHtml":"
