13-Mar-2026 — add configurable On Ramblers link visibility closes: #178
What changed
- Added admin settings to control whether the "On Ramblers" link is shown for group walks and group events.
- Kept the Area & Group settings page in a two-column layout, with each new option directly under its matching public visibility setting.
- Added a database migration to backfill the new flags to true for existing system configs so current sites keep their existing behaviour.
How to use
- Open Admin -> System Settings -> Area & Group.
- Use "Show 'On Ramblers Link' for Group Walks" to control the related link on walk pages.
- Use "Show 'On Ramblers' Link for Group Events" to control the related link on group event pages.
- Save system settings after changing either option.
Behaviour
- Both options default to enabled for new and existing configs.
- Turning either option off hides the related link without changing event data or publication status on Ramblers.
