What's new
Walks imported from Walks Manager can now match their leaders to Member Admin records automatically when Member Bulk Load or Walks Manager Sync runs. Each process can be enabled separately in Walk Configuration.
- Unmatched Walks Manager leaders are matched using their walk contact details.
- Existing matches and event-specific contact details are preserved. A Ramblers contact-page URL in the email field is replaced with the matched member's email address.
- Manually created and file-imported walks are not changed.
- Editing an individual member does not trigger walk matching.
- Walks Manager Sync respects the separate population settings for group walks and group events.
- Matching results are recorded in the relevant history.
- Opening an unchanged walk no longer offers Save because of editor defaults. Save is offered only after a user change or when the current walk genuinely differs from its recorded history, such as after Walk Export adds its Ramblers link.
Matching does not use the separate Walks Manager Contact Name, which is retained solely for outbound publishing.
