Mail Settings > Lists: Sync with Brevo sits alongside Create New List

What's new

You can now change mailing list subscriptions for lots of members at once, rather than one at a time in Member Admin. Download a spreadsheet of every member and the lists they are on, edit it, and import it back. You see exactly what would change before anything is saved, and anyone who has unsubscribed is never put back on.

Ticking an auto-subscribe setting also now offers to apply it to the members you already have, instead of only affecting people added later.

What you can do

• Download every member and their lists as a spreadsheet from Mail Settings > Lists. The same file doubles as the import template: change a Yes to No to unsubscribe someone, or a No to Yes to subscribe them.
• Before anything is saved you are shown what each list would gain and lose. Nothing changes until you confirm.
• Anything that cannot be matched, such as an unknown email address or a list that does not exist, is listed individually and skipped, so you can see what was left out.
• Members who have unsubscribed are never subscribed again, and are reported as left alone.
• Tick boxes on the Lists tab now save as you change them, and a Sync with Brevo button sits alongside Create New List.

Fixes

• A list could become permanently stuck. An unsubscribe was being recorded against members who had never been subscribed, and since an unsubscribe is never overridden, auto-subscribe could then reach nobody on that list.
• When every member is held back by an unsubscribe, the page now says so plainly rather than appearing to do nothing when you tick the setting.
• Deleting a large number of contacts could stall part way through and quietly leave most of them behind.
• A list that had never been configured could not be changed at all.

Each list's auto-subscribe settings save as you change them, and offer to apply to existing members
