What's new
Scheduled tasks now keep better run history, can recover when a cron has stopped or a run went missing, and can email platform operators when backups or other systemic jobs fail. Alert recipients are configured in the database on the platform site only, not by emailing every group member admin.
At a glance
- Incomplete runs are marked failed after restart instead of disappearing
- A watchdog restarts stopped crons and can catch up overdue hourly-or-longer tasks
- Backup failures can alert platform ops; start and success mails stay off by default
- Admin alert emails are a chip list under System Settings, Scheduled Tasks, for platform admin only
- Empty recipient list means log only; there is no fallback to group member admins
