Head office marketing consent now drives who can stay on mailing lists and who can be emailed. When the site is set to respect that consent (the usual default), a bulk load takes people with consent No off the lists, keeps them out of the email composer and out of sends, and if consent later returns to Yes, puts them back on the lists that auto-subscribe new members. When Respect is off, each list can still ask for consent on its own.
\nYou can no longer turn list subscriptions on for someone whose consent is withheld in a way the site is honouring. You can still turn subscriptions off. Member admin shows consent clearly as given, refused, or not recorded, and notes whether the member came from a Ramblers bulk load or was created by hand. Unused group, area and other consent fields that never really arrived from Head office are removed, so they cannot override a group's choice to stop following Head office consent.
\nSaves on several settings screens show a spinner until finished and a short confirmation when done. The inbox shows the real external To address on outbound mail. A few small layout fixes land with this as well.
\nThe member Audit tab used to only list changes from a Member bulk load. Edits made in Member Admin left almost no trail, so questions such as "when was this email address changed, and by whom?" were hard to answer. The last-saved stamp was not enough either, because other background saves can update it without a meaningful field change.
\nHand edits now appear on the same Audit timeline as bulk load changes. Each entry shows when it happened, who did it, which fields changed, and the old and new values. Dates are shown as dates. Bulk load entries still say they came from a bulk load. The login audit screen also has a clearer toolbar layout.
