# 08-Aug-2026 — configurable compose defaults and blank Reply-To [ref #349](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/issues/349)

## [build 818](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/actions/runs/31284079316) — [commit a450409](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/commit/a450409d1f3d8e5f0fcf14ab75bf82ac52ac0374)

## What's new

Each email type can choose whether branded Email Composer opens with the roles saved on that type, or with the current user as Sender and Sign-off. Blank Reply-To stays a valid choice: Mail Settings shows Same as sender after save and refresh, does not treat empty Reply-To as an issue, and outbound mail falls back to the From address when no separate Reply-To is set.

## At a glance

- Mail Settings: When composing this email type - use saved roles (default) or default to the current user
- Current-user mode starts Reply-To blank so replies go to From unless the sender sets one
- Saved roles still apply to automated and workflow sends
- Empty Reply-To shows as Same as sender after reload instead of a blank control
- Select All As Me remains available on every compose for a one-off override
