Previously, publishing a new walk created it on Ramblers but left its photos behind, so you had to come back afterwards and run a separate image update. The images now go up in the same run, as part of the original publish.\n\nThe walk's finish location is now sent correctly. Linear walks, which have a different start and finish point, were reporting a finish-postcode difference that no re-publish could ever clear, and that forced the whole walk to be replaced on Ramblers rather than edited in place. The finish postcode now matches what Walks Manager holds, so linear walks publish cleanly and stay editable.","contentHtml":"
13-Aug-2026 — walks now publish their images and finish location correctly
\n
build 828 — commit b080d8e
\n
\n
Two improvements to publishing walks to Ramblers Walks Manager, both confirmed by publishing a walk from scratch and watching it through end to end.
\n
Images now upload on the first publish.
