Dragging a column image height no longer just clips from the centre. You get the same Image Fit and Focal Point controls as action-button cards: crop to fill or show the whole picture, click to set the focal point, and zoom. Reset on the drag bar, and Reset height in Image Actions, clear a fixed height. The height-drag hint is a single tooltip.
