What's new
Walk CSV import now matches existing walks inside the destination group's programme, rather than treating every row as new. You have to pick a group before Choose File is enabled. When a row updates an existing walk, the match column says which fields will change, including walk leaders you allocate on the matching step. If the imported leader is not in the membership list, the picker says so by name. Walk admins get an Admin tab after Export on the programme toggle, which now starts with My Walks and is shared by Overview, Calendar, Map, My Walks and Export. The walks admin hub itself does not show that toggle. The group list opens downwards A-Z and still works when the import screen is maximised.
At a glance
- Existing walks are matched within the selected group by Walk ID, or by title and date
- Choose File stays disabled until a destination group is chosen
- Updates existing walk lists the fields that will change, or Matched, no changes when nothing differs
- Changing the member allocation updates that match line
- An unmatched imported leader shows as Name not found in the member picker
- Apply to other walks with the same leader is an icon next to the picker, and goes away if you clear the member again
- The programme toggle is My Walks, Overview, Calendar, Map, then Export and Admin for walk admins
- Export uses that same toggle; the walks admin hub does not
- Walks Manager cache exports include group code and name so a later import can match by group
