AGM Statistics treats the reporting period as a proper date range: last years, all time, since a committee meeting, or between two meetings. The dates, meeting and chart sit in the address bar so a report can be sent as a link. Since a committee meeting is compared with the meeting before it, not a calendar year. Local programmes count miles and returning leaders from the walks that were actually led, including drafts, and Walks Manager programmes stay on Walks Manager walks.\n\nChosen report areas can be emailed to selected committee roles using the dates currently shown. The email has an optional introduction that appears above the figures, a \"Send to committee role addresses\" switch matching the composer so personal addresses can be used instead, and two attachment options: the Excel workbook with every report area, and a CSV of just the report areas ticked for the email. The preview updates as the introduction is typed, and the recipient line says which kind of address will be used.\n\nThe report's detailed tables can go with the email and its files: the walk lists (slots not filled, morning, cancelled and evening walks), the new, top and aggregate leader tables, the social events and organisers, the unpaid expenses and the paid expenses by claimant for each period. Walk and social event titles keep their links, pointing at the public site so they work from anyone's inbox. The Excel workbook always includes the tables as extra sheets, one per table, with the titles as clickable links, and Save to Excel does the same. An \"Include the detailed tables in the email and CSV\" option adds them beneath each summary in the email body and to the CSV, with the preview updating as you tick it. The first column of every summary table, previously headed \"Metric\", now reads \"Statistic\" in the email, the CSV and the workbook.\n\n## At a glance\n\n\n\n- Report on activity since a selected committee event, or between two selected committee events\n- See past meetings and AGMs in date order, with duplicate documents combined into one event at one date and time\n- Since a committee meeting shows the previous inter-meeting stretch as Previous\n- Period presets fill the width of the date-range slider instead of a cramped dropdown\n- Copy the page address to share the same dates, committee meeting and chart\n- Draft local walks count towards miles; returning leaders are not listed as new\n- Walks Manager groups do not mix in local empty slots\n- Chart Type, Load Stats, Email statistics and Save to Excel sit on one row\n- Email selected walks, socials, membership or expense figures to chosen committee recipients, from a Ramblers-styled preview\n\n\n\n- Introduction text area on the statistics email, rendered as paragraphs above the heading\n- Send to committee role addresses is a choice, on by default; the recipient line reads \"at their committee role addresses\" or \"at their personal addresses\"\n- Attach Excel workbook, on by default, and Attach the selected tables as CSV\n- Save to Excel downloads Walks, Socials, Membership and Expenses\n- Detailed tables under each summary in the email and the CSV when the option is ticked\n- Walk and social event titles link to the public site in the email, the markdown copy and the workbook\n- Workbook gains a sheet per detailed table, with pounds formatting on money columns\n- \"Statistic\" replaces \"Metric\" as the summary column heading\n\n\n\n## Screen show of how the email looks in the inbox.\n\n\n\n![](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/api/aws/s3/site-content/7170115c-26a5-4acd-ae4e-0334b156db1f.png)","contentHtml":"
04-Sep-2026 — select periods from committee events, and email the statistics with an introduction #380
\n
build 877 — commit c3ea0ea
\n
\n
What's new
\n
The statistics report can now use committee meetings and AGMs as reporting boundaries, removing the need to look up and enter their dates before a committee meeting.
