05-Sep-2026 — About this version page showing the running build, where it runs and what changed #182
build 878 — commit 2ce62fc
What's new
Every site gains an About this version page, linked from the footer, showing exactly what is running: build number with a link to its log, commit and message, branch, when it was built and started, image, environment, Fly app and region, and Node.js version. Under What changed it lists the release notes for that build, or the latest notes when the build has none, with links to all release notes. The "new version ready" notice links to it, and a local development build says so rather than pretending to be a deployment.
At a glance
- Footer link on every site; the page lives at /admin/version, with /version redirecting there
- Build, commit, branch, times, image, environment, Fly app and region, Node.js version and server time
- What changed lists the release notes for the running build
