What's new

Converting routes from OS Maps into GPX files is quicker and more reliable, and the report shows where the time goes. Album index maps and social media panels load faster, and a site without an OS Maps key shows a working map instead of blank tiles.

At a glance

• Each OS Maps route export retries itself when OS Maps swallows the click, and a route that never downloads fails with its name rather than hanging
• The OS Maps code is downloaded once per run rather than once per route
• The walk editor lists every GPX route in storage again, not only those already linked to a walk
• A route with no start point has it read from the file once and kept, instead of showing as thousands of miles away
• Album index maps load faster
• Facebook and Instagram panels refresh every five minutes, and a deleted post disappears straight away
• A site without an OS Maps key shows OpenStreetMap tiles on the right projection
• Index cards without an image show the placeholder image
• OS Maps keys for new sites can be generated in the OS Data Hub automatically
