## What's new

Some groups have no website of their own and use the page Ramblers provides at ramblers.org.uk. Registering one of those now works: the group's own words, its own sub-pages and the documents it links to come across, and the standard Ramblers wrapper does not. A linked Google Doc, Word file or PDF, such as a group's FAQs or newsletter, becomes a page on the new site.

## At a glance

- A Ramblers-hosted group page can now be read at all. Ramblers refused our old identifier, so Find pages failed with HTTP 403.
- The new site gets the group's welcome text, pages such as "What we do", and a page per linked document, with titles taken from the group's own cards.
- Ramblers' own material is left behind: breadcrumbs, the green page header, upcoming walks, "Join the Ramblers", "Campaign with us" and the national FAQ leaflet.
- Committee contacts are picked up wherever they appear, so a "Chair: name - email" list on a page such as "What we do" fills in the committee roles.
- Questions in a flat document become headings, and the tracking wrapper Google adds around links is removed.
- A build is no longer marked as failed when the release notes step cannot reach the database; it retries three times and the build carries on.
