The email composer no longer shows the "This looks like a broadcast rather than a one-to-one reply" alert on ordinary unbranded replies. That banner is off unless Mail Settings (API tab) turns on "Warn when an unbranded send looks like a broadcast". Unbranded sends to more than 50 recipients are still blocked.
