# 30-Sep-2026 — shorten index cards and default index maps to OS Explorer [ref #97](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/issues/97)

## [build 982](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/actions/runs/36747304323) — [commit 5245c62](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/commit/5245c622cde02e996b058f1b1848bd0d6f9f8081)

## What's new

Index pages with action-button cards now show a short description that stops at a whole word, so a long walk write-up no longer fills the card. Public index maps open on OS Explorer rather than OpenStreetMap, with space above and below the map, and without the provider, height or map-options bar. Those controls remain when you edit the page in the CMS.
