# 01-Oct-2026 — vacant roles sign off with the role title only [ref #288](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/issues/288)

## [build 983](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/actions/runs/36791897726) — [commit f8f6e45](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/commit/f8f6e45e2453f4c3f38fa064de90dfe11a1a4902)

## What's new

- A committee role with no person no longer signs off as "null - Walks Coordinator". The line is the role title, with the role mailbox still linked.
- Built-in role and role-type dropdowns show written labels such as Walks Co-ordinator, not a title-cased enum name.
