Signed-in members can start recording from wherever they are without choosing an existing walk. Recordings can be paused, named and described, then saved into Maps for following and GPX export. Unfinished recordings stay on the phone after a failed save, and discarding one requires confirmation.
\nReturning to the walking app preserves the route, progress and map view. The heading arrow responds to body rotation in both map orientations, and pinch zoom moves continuously. Automatic update reloads are deferred while using the app. Installed-phone acceptance checks remain outstanding.
\nThe walks programme introduction now wraps around the My Walks button with comfortable spacing, then uses the full page width below it.
