{"id":"6ac7924c53c6da16e30f39e4","title":"2026 10 08 Issue 414","path":"how-to/committee/release-notes/2026-10-08-issue-414","contentMarkdown":"# 08-Oct-2026 — add user folders and drag-to-file [ref #414](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/issues/414)\n\n## [build 995](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/actions/runs/37778351719) — [commit 0148ad4](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/commit/0148ad4f3574a1d2a2d36997920ff00a7640c1df)\n\n---\n\n## What's new\n\nCommittee Mail now has a Folders section in the left-hand tree. \n\n- You can create as many folders as you need, click and hold a name to rename it, and file conversations by dragging a row onto a folder or Inbox, or from the selected-conversations menu. \n- Drag a single row to file it, or tick several and drag one of them to file the set. \n- Drag down the checkboxes, or Shift-drag the rows, to select a range. \n- Folder addresses in the URL use the folder name, not a raw id. \n- When the list is maximised, a Folder or role column shows the folder name if the conversation is filed, otherwise the role. \n- Deleting a folder offers Keep mail (folder goes, mail stays in Inbox), \n- Delete mail (folder and mail go), or cancel. New folder uses a plus icon and does not offer browser suggestions. \n- Search conversations has a clear cross.
