# 21-Oct-2026 — import Event Gallery as albums, finish PDF imports and tidy mobile controls [#20](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/issues/20)

## [build 1012](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/actions/runs/39689061652) — [commit 9a3db87](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/commit/9a3db8739f6a9a4c37aca49128f587291b976a2b)

## What's new

- Joomla Event Gallery listings become a Photos index. Each event is its own album, nested under a year when the title or folder name includes a year, so the albums appear on the index automatically. The importer recognises Event Gallery from the Joomla component and listing markup, so any menu alias works, not only Walks Gallery.
- Pagination pages from the old gallery (for example `?start=50`) are not imported as CMS pages.
- Walk and page photo dumps are stored as grid albums with no repeated image titles, a tight 0.25 gap, and without the view-switch toolbar. Gallery and grid views both show every photo in the album.
- Hero images written during registration are limited to 450 pixels high.
- Site registrations can finish importing linked PDF documents that previously stalled while extracting unused images. Open Site registrations to follow each document being read, converted and completed.
- Event Gallery albums that only name a year still link to a walk when one walk that year shares the place name, and a unique place name can still match if the year on the folder and the walk differ.
- Release notes and how-to pages now link [Admin → Platform → Environment management](https://ngx-ramblers.org.uk/admin/platform/environment-management "{{siteUrl}}") and Site registrations to those screens on the group site.
- On mobile, the email composer's stepper and action buttons cover the safe-area gap so scrolling form text stays behind the header.
- While you confirm a send, Start new email, Send and related workspace actions stay hidden so they do not sit on top of the confirm step.
- On mobile, the Walks Programme event count fills the row when the results fit on one page.
- The Walks Programme sticky toolbar no longer jumps or clips when it condenses on scroll.
