Plot opens on Explorer when an OS Maps key is configured, works without GPS access, and includes zoom buttons for moving between local and nationwide views.\n- Use Edit on an existing route to change its line, name, description and appearance. The distance unit and thinning controls sit alongside the editing tools, and following controls stay hidden while plotting.\n- Saving an edited guided-page route updates its library GPX and linked maps while preserving the page's markers and appearance. Repeated saves reuse the existing library route; file and ESRI imports also appear in the library.\n- Opening a route shows a loading overlay until the map is ready. Offline routes can open without waiting for a fresh configuration request, and reopening OS Maps reconnects to an active conversion.","contentHtml":"
26-Oct-2026 — share the route library and improve plotting #151
\n
build 1020 — commit ce29d4a
\n
\n
What's new
\n
\n
Open Walks admin → Routes to use the same route library as the walking app. Use the OS Maps tab to load and convert routes from an OS Maps account, or Import GPX to add a file.
\n
Choose Find or plot in Maps, search for a town, postcode or landmark, then click the map to add route points.
