{"id":"6ae5e05228f5a363a69e24db","title":"2026 10 31 Issue 89","path":"how-to/committee/release-notes/2026-10-31-issue-89","contentMarkdown":"# 31-Oct-2026 — add heading links on dynamic content pages [#89](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/issues/89)\n\n## [build 1032](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/actions/runs/41200966608) — [commit 5e45846](https://github.com/nbarrett/ngx-ramblers/commit/5e45846f34966c0856c4997d9ae62d2e22743d33)\n\n_____\n\n## What's new\n\n- On a dynamic content page, each heading shows a link icon and a copy icon after the title when you hover it. The link moves the page to that heading. The copy icon copies the address, then shows a tick for a moment. The icons hide when the pointer leaves the heading.\n- A link written as `#heading-name` stays on the current page and scrolls to that heading. A link to another page that includes a heading name opens that page and scrolls to the heading. Refreshing an address that already includes a heading does the same. If the heading is not on the page, the page still opens.\n- The name in the address comes from the heading text: lower case, with spaces and repeated dashes turned into a single hyphen.\n- How-to links that open on a chosen website use a delayed tooltip with the gear, for example \"Opens on Hillside Walkers. Click the gear above to change this.\" They no longer show a browser popup of `{{siteUrl}}`. Only links marked with that annotation get the gear and the rewrite. Other admin or site links on the same page stay as they are, including any ordinary title text.\n- In the editor link bar there is a checkbox: Opens on the website chosen with the gear at the top of the page. Tick it to add the annotation.","contentHtml":"
31-Oct-2026 — add heading links on dynamic content pages #89
\n
build 1032 — commit 5e45846
\n
\n
What's new
\n
\n
On a dynamic content page, each heading shows a link icon and a copy icon after the title when you hover it.
