Meet at the Reynold’s Playing Field opposite The Walnut Tree pub, Aldington

This is a new walk.  We’ll start off by heading west along the valley of the Little Stour river to Mersham before turning south to Rowling Street where we will cross a working airfield and visit the Hamilton Airfield Cafe.  Our return will be via woods, passing by Bilsington Priory to reach Aldington from the south.

Estimated finish time is 14.30.  Please bring plenty to drink and food if you wish – there will be a stop en route. Further refreshments will be available at the Walnut Tree on our return.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome – but there may be stiles along the way which are not dog-friendly and we are likely to encounter livestock in places.
