Aldington

Please park considerately in Roman Road near to the playing field. Don’t use the Village Hall or Walnut Tree car parks.

The route includes woodland and open farmland and follows part of the Saxon Shore Way west of Aldington, to Bilsington, returning via the canal path and St Rumwold’s Church before climbing the slope back to Aldington.

Leisurely pace and some hills but nothing very steep.

Estimated finish time around 13.00.

Possibility of refreshments at the Walnut Tree at the end of the walk.
