Capital Ring 8. Stoke Newington to Woolwich
The initial part of the walk is quite suburban until we reach the edge of Walthamstow Marshes. We then follow the Lea and along the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. There is there is then a long stretch along the Greenway – basically a walking/cycling path on top of sewage pipes (with the biggest flow of sewage in the UK at more than 100 million gallons per day!). We then pass Abbey Mills Pumping Station before we reach Becton District Park followed by our last stretch making our way to Woolwich and the finish of the Capital Ring!
This is a no dog walk
