Cliftonville to Broadstairs and back along coastal paths

Meet outside Walpole Bay Hotel, Fifth Avenue, Cliftonville. Free parking on Fifth Avenue or neighbouring roads. We follow the King Charles III coastal footpath from Cliftonville heading east to Palm Bay, Botany Bay and Kingsgate before approaching picturesque Broadstairs via Stone Bay. Time for a quick ice cream or coffee at world-famous Morellis before retracing our footsteps to Walpole Bay. This walk will be led at a leisurely pace. It is predominantly flat. It may involve some walking on sandy beaches if the tide times are in our favour. Refreshments will be available at the Walpole Bay Hotel at the end if wanted. But no formal lunch has been booked. Please note dogs are not allowed on most of these beaches daytime during the summer months. Assistance dogs only.
