Farnborough and Flowers

As winter turns to spring we look to nature to brighten our days, so join us for a pleasant walk close to home, when we hope to see wild flowers. From Farnborough we go through High Elms and Norstead Manor, with good views back towards London before lunch at Cudham, where there are public toilets and a pub for a quick drink if desired. After six miles in the morning, the afternoon is shorter at four miles, but with a few hills to offset that as we pass Darwin's orchid bank on the way to Downe for a short break (and the possibility of a bus into Bromley). The rest of the route takes us through a different part of High Elms before getting back to Farnborough.
