Golden autumn: Godden Green and Greensand Way

Crossing the common at Godden Green, we take pine needle-strewn woodland paths amid orange-tinged ferns and silver birches to Ivy Hatch and Shipbourne. We return via the Greensand Way, with its spectacular ridge views of the Weald, passing Fawke House on our route back to the start.
