Gover lover? Go over Gover again ...

From Shipbourne Common, the walk goes past Mount Pleasant and Goose Green to the green at West Peckham for lunch.  You can lunch at the excellent Swan pub or picnic around the green's cricket field.  About 6 miles and very little ascent.

In the afternoon, we go up to Gover Hill for the superb view to the west and then on through orchards to Plaxtol.  From there it's across the Fairlawne estate and back to Shipbourne.  About 5½ miles and a modest 400 feet of ascent.

The walk is not the same as the one in January which also went to Gover Hill.  The morning is completely new and the afternoon is significantly changed.
