Starting in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, this scenic circular walk soon leaves the bustle of town behind and heads out into the tranquil rolling countryside of the Chilterns. Our route takes us through a delightful mix of peaceful farmland, shaded woodland paths, quiet country lanes and picturesque villages, showcasing the timeless rural charm of Fawley, Hambleden, Mill End, Aston and Remenham.
Expect a varied and rewarding day with expansive countryside views, stretches of ancient woodland, and several postcard-worthy sections through some of the Thames Valley’s most attractive hamlets. There will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the changing scenery and take in the peaceful atmosphere along the way.
A pub stop is planned en route for refreshments. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink for the day.
