The Hills Are Alive with the Sound of Shoreham

Starting from the train station car park at Shoreham, we head east up White Hill and across Fackenden Down Nature Reserve. Please note there are 325ft of ascent in the first half mile, as we climb up White Hill, but the effort is worth the views at the top. We then head west along part of the North Downs Way, down towards Otford, where we enjoy a short break. After, we head west, through Otford, across farmland, heading up Polhill Bank Nature Reserve into Pilots Wood. Please note the climb up Polhill Bank is quite steep and walking poles may assist. We then head through the woods, crossing the M25 footbridge, to enjoy lunch at the picnic site close to Badgers Mount. After lunch, it is 2.5 miles back to the start point through Meenfield Woods, passing Shoreham Cross. Optional post walk drinks available in Shoreham.
