Lavender fields forever

IMPORTANT UPDATE NOTE:-

Due to the high forecast temperatures next week, we have altered the walk to shorten the length.

We will start the walk from the Lullingstone Visitors Centre (parking charges apply). The car park opens at 09:00am and is likely to be busy as there is limited car parking we recomend that you arrive early. (N.B. There was plenty of parking today when we did the recce).

We will walk up a shaded path to the top of a steep hill from where we should get outstanding views of the lavender fields. The walk will continue through shaded woods wherever possible, ending with a short river bank walk. The walk will finish in the Castle farmyard where walkers can enjoy a wander around. There is also a dedicated lavender shop selling Castle Farm lavender products.

N.B.  If you would like to walk through the fields, there is a small charge, and it is advisable to pre-book.(castlefarmkent.co.uk)
