Leigh, Medway, Penshurst & Return

From Leigh cricket ground we walk across water meadows (very occasionally literally so!) down to the Medway. Then go up the river almost to Penshurst where we go uphill to above the Castle. Walking through Penshurst village we return to Leigh through the castle park. A small amount of road walking to end with. Little in the way of stiles to cross; not usually muddy in May. Note parking may be tricky if cricket match on, but meet by the pavilion.
