Lewes Rodmell circular

A brisk walk along the South Downs, we will walk to Glynde through less well trodden paths past Caburn Fort, before climbing Beddingham Hill and onto the Downs. We will follow the ridge with views to the North and South before dropping down past Southease to Rodmell for our picnic lunch, with refreshments available.

From Rodmell we will divert from the South Downs Way to go up Highdale Hill and follow that higher ridge with views over Brighton to the sea before rejoining the SDW to drop down past Swanborough Manor and through the nature reserve into Lewes.
