Linear walk - Westgate-on-Sea to Herne Bay

Meet at Herne Bay Railway Station (CT6 8PJ): https://www.google.co.uk/maps?q=CT68PJ at 10 am to get the 10:07 train or alternatively join at Westgate-on-Sea Railway Station (CT8 8QY): https://www.google.co.uk/maps?q=CT88QY at 10:20. We will walk along the coast from Westgate Bay back to Herne Bay, passing various bays/ beaches, then joining the raised sea wall before reaching Reculver Towers. We will stop for a short refreshment break at Reculver then take the path into the country park and down onto the promenade leading to Herne Bay. The walk will end at Herne Bay pier and the railway station is a 15 minute walk from there. Expected finish time 2:30. Parking at Herne Bay Station is £4 on a Sunday or free roadside parking in surrounding streets. Please allow enough time to purchase your train ticket.
