Mark's Midweek Markbeech Circular - 5 miles

Starting from The Kentish Horse in Markbeech, we head due East into the woods at Newtye Hurst. We then head due south to Chiddingstone Hoath with marvellous views to the south and down to a hidden valley and then onto Cowden Station. Our walk back to Markbeech takes us past the remains of the surviving cross-wing of a late medieval, timber-framed hall house in a peaceful woodland clearing.
