New Year's Day Rochester Ramble

We will meet outside the main entrance to Rochester Cathedral on College Yard. (There are public toilets and cafes in the high street). At a leisurely stroll, we'll head toward the river and make our way riverside to Borstal. There will be a steep climb on road and pathways up to Borstal prison where we have views across the Medway Valley towards Cuxton. Then winding our way mostly on pavement and pathways we'll head back towards Rochester Castle, ending at the Cathedral and the High Street for drinks/lunch for those who want that.
