One Tree Hill to Dunk's Green

From the car park at One Tree Hill we go over Wilmot Hill and down to Ightham Mote for an early stop (and toilets).  There is a climb up to High Beeches and we skirt around Plaxtol.  After a short walk on a quiet lane dotted with houses, we rejoin the path of a previously crossed stream to arrive on Roughway Lane and the lunch stop.  About 5½ miles and 350 feet/110 metres of ascent.

After lunch, we go through Shipbourne and past Underriver House.  It's easy going but after the house there is a longish - but not too steep - climb back up to the car park inconveniently situated at the top of One Tree Hill.  About 4¼ miles and 350 feet/110 metres of ascent.
