Paul L's Chiddingstone Circular
This is a 7.5 mile clockwise circular walk, initially heading North towards Bough Beech reservoir, then East and South passing Charcott and Penshurst station. There are lots of nice open vistas. Its fairly flat although there are some stiles to climb over and also as we are walking in the Eden Valley it might be muddy in places. If the weather is nice we can add on two small detours to visit the reservoir (and perhaps pause there for a snack) then at the end of the walk visit the famous Chiding Stone. After the walk, the Castle Inn and Tulip Tree cafe - both within yards of the end of the walk - are options for a post walk drink or coffee/cake.
