Peter’s 14 mile Upnor to Cooling Circular

Circular walk that passes Upnor and Cooling Castles along the Saxon Shore Way. We also stop at Cooling Church - famous for  it’s 500 year old timber door, it’s 19th century vestry lined with thousands of cockle shells and the graves of 13 babies that Charles Dickens  described as “little stone lozenges in Great Expectations.
