The River Darenth meets the River Thames

This is a fairly flat walk, featuring the least walked part of the Darent Valley Walk. We will pass through woodland, old and new industrial sites and new housing as we make our way through historic Dartford. We will follow the River Darenth out across the flood plain until it meets the River Thames and the Flood Barrier. We follow the Thames passing under the QE2 bridge and past all the varied commercial activity on both sides of the river. We then turn inland passing a number of points of interest before returning to the start.
