A scenic walk from Penshurst

Our walk starts by taking us past some of the historic buildings in Penshurst before we head up hill towards Elliots Farm before turning south over rolling countryside towards Fordcombe, crossing the Medway as we go. Before reaching Fordcome we turn East on the Tunbridge Wells Circular Walk to Speldhurst. From Speldhurst we continue on the Tunbridge Wells Walk before turning north to Bidborough where we will stop for lunch in the church yard, with its spectacular views. From Bidborough we head north until we meet the Medway again. We then follow the Medway south west before leaving it and continuing on until we reach Penshurst Place and from there it is only a short distance to our start point.
