Shorne Woods Country Park, 11 miles, 25 October

We will head north from Shorne Woods Country Park through the Shorne Marshes conservation area to the Thames, pausing at Shornmead Fort, before heading west into the industrial area for lunch at the Ship and Lobster or picnic by the canal. LATE AMENDMENT - NOTE NO FOOD IN THE PUB. In the afternoon, we will follow the Thames & Medway canal before heading south back to our start point
