A short walk around Leigh with a little detour to the pub

Starting from the Green of the pretty village of Leigh, we skirt the church and walk along the boundary of Hall Place, with a possible glimpse of the lake. On reaching Wickhurst Farm, we turn towards Charcott (where the pub will still be closed) and cross over a road to reach the footpath opposite the church at Chiddingstone Causeway. We will stop at the Little Brown Jug for a drink or a coffee (if wanted) and then retrace our steps to continue along the side of Price's Wood. We cross a busy road and walk on the pavement across from Hall Place back to Leigh.
