Supermoon Circular Walk

Clear skies permitting witness the last full Supermoon this year. A full Supermoon happens when the full moon happens at or near the time the moon is closest to us in its elliptcal orbit, a mere 224,658 miles away (average moon distance to earth is 238,900). The Supermoon is larger and much brighter than the standard average full moon.

To mark this event I will be leading a circular 7 mile walk from Ide Hill to Toys Hill (an area known for its dark skies - Bortle Class 4) to witness the sunset, Full Moon rising and glorious star lit skies (we hope).
