Toys Hill to Weald Village -A walk of two halves

We will immediately pass through the Weardale view point on Toys Hill before we spend the morning descending through Henden Manor to Bough Beech reservoir which we will cross, pausing to spot some of the birdlife from the causeway. We will continue through Bore Place and Bowzell Wood to Weald Village to picnic on the green and take refreshments at the Windmill.

We will walk off our lunch climbing back to Toys Hill via Wickhurst Manor, Boarhill and Ide Hill.
