Walk 1 of 2 - Blue Bell fields loop from Frant - Lake, Nature Reserve minus Bluebells!

A looping walk around Blue Bell Fields from Frant towards Erdige Rocks and back.

This is the first walk of the day (1 day, 2 walks in a figure of eight, 3 pub stops!) around where I grew up used and used to  explore as a teenager. There will be 45 minutes  between walks to visit Frant Stores/The Abergavenny Arms to refresh and refuel.

Whilst there may limited bluebells there will be fields,  lakes, a ford,  a church, streams, forest, a nature reserve, a clay pigeon shooting range (safe but signs to stay on the path, for real!).

The walk is fairly flat apart from a couple of small uphills and one medium size uphill.

Dogs are welcome but there are several places with signs where dogs will need to be on leads especially in the nature reserve.

A lot of path clearance has been done by yours truely  on the rece, I disklike brmables and nettles but there may be some left.
