Walk Around Spedhurst Where The Sausages Come From

A walk around the Speldhurst countryside. Starting at the George and Dragon pub known for its excellent food and superb bitters. There is a large car park where we are asked to double up, one behind the other. We walk along part of the Wealdway admiring some  of the medieval houses and various out buildings. We head towards Bullingstone and thence on towards the Medway which we follow for a little way, then towards Poundsbridge a particularly attractive village. We are now deep into the Speldhurst countryside walking through meadows and woods, your sensory feelings will be mesmerised by the variety of sights. We are now contemplating returning to our start point and we have to navigate around the sewage works to return to Speldhurst village and on towards our start point. There are very few stiles and some moderate climbs.
